With function space of international standard, state-of-the-art facilities and technologies, sustainable practice initiatives, experienced staff and Thai hospitality, QSNCC meets every need and requirement of International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), thus the confidence in raising the successful profile of ICCA Annual Congress to another height.
Established as a global convention body in 1963, ICCA currently has around 1,000 members who are organizations related to meeting industry, both public and private sectors, from 100 countries worldwide. Thailand is honored to be a chosen host country of the 62nd edition of its annual congress. This is the third time Thailand is hosting the gathering following the first time in 1985 in Bangkok and the second time in 2007 in Pattaya. QSNCC will be a key partner in welcoming over 1,000 delegates worldwide and will help deliver success again like the ones in 1985 and 2007.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the QSNCC, a truly remarkable state-of-the-art venue, and one that will give our delegates a complete and unforgettable congress experience,” said ICCA CEO Senthil Gopinath. “We are working closely with stakeholders and partners in Thailand to ensure we all deliver something that goes beyond usual expectations. Invaluable knowledge plus learning of splendid culture will belong to those attending.”
With the congress’ focus on decarbonization and sustainability, QSNCC can meet every aspect of such requirements through its sustainable practices. These range from sustainability-focused design of its renovated version, use of eco-friendly materials, installation of water-saving sanitary wares, sourcing of local raw materials and ingredients in order to create income for local communities, carbon-reducing transport, selecting eco-friendly food package, recycling of food waste and certified waste disposal. The 62nd ICCA Annual Congress will be a noted opportunity for worldwide delegates to witness the capabilities and commitment of QSNCC to raising the bar of sustainability for meetings.
The four-day congress will also be a showcase of QSNCC in being “more than a convention center” that meets all types of lifestyles developed and guided by the concept of “Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall (BALM)”. The attending delegates will be exposed to a new experience on over 11,000 sq.m. floor of the retail zone where they will find restaurants, café, spa, sporting shop, bookstore, drugstore, convenience store, co-working space, and bathrooms. Apart from that they can learn and be immersed into Thai culture featured through both interior and outdoor architectural design, artwork decorating the indoor space, while Benjakitti park next to QSNCC is a spot offering a lot of relaxing activities.
