The World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is held every two years and brings together Chinese traders worldwide. This year, the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce is organizing the convention with the aim to create a robust economic network, strengthen the global Chinese business community, and enhance business opportunities and investments between Thailand and various countries.
Narongsak Putthapornmongkol, President of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerceand President of organizing committee of the 16th WCEC, revealed that “The People’s Republic of China has been one of Thailand’s top trading partners, supported by a strong bilateral relationship spanning over 45 years. This includes economic cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism, with Thailand being the first country that the Chinese government has allowed its citizens to travel to as tourists. Therefore, in order to strengthenthe Thai-Chinese business partnership, and revive Thai economy as well as world economy, following the global crisis caused bythe COVID-19 pandemic,the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 16th WCEC.
