QSNCC Partners with PTTGC to Convert Used Cooking Oil into Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Reinforcing Its Role as a Green Convention Center
Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is advancing its sustainability efforts through a strategic partnership with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC). Under the “From Kitchen to Creation” initiative, used cooking oil generated from on-site food operations is collected and converted into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)—a cleaner energy source that plays a vital role in reducing carbon emissions from the aviation industry. This initiative reinforces QSNCC’s position as a green convention center that meets international standards and supports sustainable events, while contributing to broader efforts to drive environmentally responsible practices across the MICE industry.
